Design System Leader, DesignOps & Product Management
Strategic UX and Design System leader with 13+ years of experience leading creative teams and advancing digital design initiatives. Experienced in scaling enterprise Design Systems, driving adoption, and translating business strategy into measurable impact through cross-functional leadership, DesignOps, and scalable governance. Brings practical experience in UX Research and Information Architecture, along with a conscious, people-centered leadership approach focused on developing talent, building trust, and aligning teams to deliver cohesive, impactful experiences.
I lead Design System Operations, governance, and adoption for Marriott International’s global, multi-brand Digital Design System. My role brings together UX, Product, Engineering, Brand, and business partners to translate strategy into scalable practices, strengthen collaboration, and create consistency across Marriott’s digital experiences. I oversee team operations, portfolio priorities, stakeholder engagement, and the evolution of our Design System documentation platform, while directly managing and developing a team of five designers. At the heart of my work is connecting people, creating clarity, and building the conditions for teams to do their best work.
At Freddie Mac, I led a multidisciplinary UX team of designers and developers, transforming complex financial applications into intuitive, efficient digital experiences that supported the company's mission to make homeownership possible through affordable housing, risk management, and financial strength.
As a hands-on design leader and product partner, I guided UX strategy and delivery across 55+ web applications, including Loan Advisor, Servicing Gateway, Credit Risk Transfer, and UCount. I connected business objectives, user needs, and technical capabilities to improve workflows and create more consistent experiences across Freddie Mac's Single-Family and Capital Markets divisions.
In addition to leading UX delivery, I served as Product Owner for Freddie Mac's enterprise UX Design System. I owned the product roadmap, prioritizing new components, enhancements, and fixes in partnership with five developers, using product team feedback and evolving user needs to guide continuous improvement. The Design System has since scaled to support 100+ applications across the organization.
